Stink bugs are of a brown or green color and are harmless to humans. Once these bugs invade your home they become pests. They can release an unpleasant odor, similar to skunks as their defense mechanism. Each time a stink bug lands, they release a smell to ensure their protection. This smell lasts a very long time and it attracts more stink bugs.
